Equipment exchange is available 24/7/365 through our secure and monitored trailer lockbox.
Our location is well-lit, camera-monitored, and set up for safe pickup and drop-off access. You may pull into the driveway to load in and load out.
Please let us know when you plan to pick up and drop off. If something breaks, goes missing, or you are running late, communicate with us as early as possible.
Items are inspected before departure and after return. Larger rental returns may take 1–3 days to inspect. Cleaning, repair, or replacement fees may apply when needed.
If items are damaged, missing, or not returned, you are responsible for repair or replacement costs. The credit card on file may be billed for applicable costs.
If items are accidentally returned that do not belong to LA Film Rentals, we will do our best to notify you and hold them in lost and found for 90 days.
Extension cords may be included with rentals requiring AC power. Sandbags are included with stand rentals. C-stands may be included with some lighting rentals when designated. Bags, backpacks, or cases may be included for safe transport.
Once these steps are completed and your rental is approved, you will receive trailer lockbox access instructions for no-contact pickup and drop-off.
Select the items you wish to rent, choose your rental dates, add them to your cart, and checkout to reserve your rental request. This sends us an email so we can confirm item availability. Once confirmed, you can pay using the link in the email or through your account options.
You must read, understand, sign, and submit the rental agreement online before rental pickup.
Complete the credit card authorization form. This may be used to pay for your rental and helps cover charges for items that are not returned, returned damaged, or fall below your insurance deductible.
Issue a Certificate of Insurance showing LA Film Rentals is covered if something happens to our gear while it is in your possession.
