Direct rentals from LA Film Rentals require an approved annual production insurance policy with equipment rental coverage equal to or greater than the replacement value of the rented gear.

LA Film Rentals only accepts annual production insurance policies for direct website rentals.

- COI must list proper rental equipment coverage
- Coverage must meet or exceed replacement value
- Short-term coverage should be handled through ShareGrid
- COI must be submitted and approved before pickup
Do Not Wait Until Pickup Day
Insurance verification can take time. Submit your COI as early as possible so your rental is not delayed.
If your COI is missing required coverage, incorrect certificate holder information, or insufficient limits, we may need updated documents before releasing equipment.

If you do not have a Certificate of Insurance, you will need to secure production equipment rental insurance before renting directly from LA Film Rentals.
