What is included

• 2 × ART SLA-4 four-channel studio power amplifiers
• 1 × Tascam US-16×08 USB audio/MIDI interface
• 1 × Diandian 6U shallow 16-inch-depth rack flight case
• 1 × Soundavo PMX-600 1U power conditioner / surge protector
• 8 × Hosa CSS-890 balanced 1/4-inch TRS patch cables, 3 ft
• Pre-cut GEARit 14 AWG 14/2 speaker-wire runs

Two ways to feed the system

USB playback: Connect your compatible computer to the Tascam US-16×08. Use multichannel-capable software and assign computer channels 1–8 to line outputs 1–8. The eight outputs feed the two amplifiers, with one speaker per amplifier channel. A stereo source alone does not create eight independent audio channels.

Direct input / standalone: With USB disconnected, the Tascam routes its front XLR mic inputs 1–8 directly to corresponding line outputs 1–8. Match source levels to those mic inputs; external line-level sources may need attenuation or adapters. Rear line inputs 9–16 do not provide the same standalone one-to-one routing.

System setup

Use each speaker in 8-ohm bypass mode with one speaker per amplifier channel. Each SLA-4 is rated for 4 × 100 W at 8 ohms or 4 × 140 W at 4 ohms. The included WET-6B speakers handle 50 W RMS each at 8 ohms; set playback levels accordingly.

The speakers are IP55 weather-resistant for indoor or outdoor placement. Keep the amplifiers, Tascam, power conditioner, rack electronics, and mains connections dry and sheltered. Do not submerge speakers. Speaker-wire runs are supplied pre-cut; confirm required cable lengths and placement before pickup. Computer, playback software, source-input adapters, and installation stands or rigging are not included.

Total package replacement value: $2,659.68.
